For a bangle: You are measuring the widest part of your hand, the fist, near the the thumb and knuckles; NOT the wrist. Sizing will be in digits (6.65, 7, 7.5, 8).
For a charm bracelet chain: You are measuring at the wrist. Sizing will be in letter size (s, m, l, xl, xxl).
[Sterling silver may naturally darken or dull over time, your body chemistry determines that, this is natural, and often provides a beautiful patina, adding depth to your custom piece; however, a good scrub with a toothbrush and some Dawn, under warm running water, can help brighten up a piece immensely]
